Friendship twine key ring

Today, we’re going to share the instructions for a Friendship twine key ring.

To make this key ring, we need:

1. 2 cords, each 40 cm.
2. A key ring or clip.

First, we attach both cords to the ring. We fold over one cord at 13 cm and loop it over the ring, keeping the shorter (13cm) side of the cord in the middle.

Repeat the same process with the second cord, again keeping the shorter side of the cord in the middle.

Next, we start the crossing over.

1. Take the blue cord and lay it across the 2 shorter, middle cords.
2. Pick up the longer yellow cord, and, keeping it under the blue horizontal cord, pass it under the 2 shorter middle cords and through the loop made on the other side by the longer blue cord.
3. Pull both long cords, till they are tight. We should see the blue cord going across, and the yellow cord coming down.
4. Repeat this process, placing the long blue cord across and the long yellow cord passing behind the short cords and through the blue loop until you have the required length.
5. Cut the ends and burn them so that the twine stays fixed.
