Anne Yesterday was a very very special and exciting day for Elsa and Anne. And we think that the students who came to the meet-up between Smart Osvita and Colégio Efanor would agree!
A couple of weeks ago, we received a lovely email:
Dear Anne,
Hope you are well and happy.
We are the three classes of 4th grade students who helped Ukraine by selling memory games, bracelets, squishy balloons, etc. on Family Day. We also sent the Speech Bubbles and we loved reading yours too! Thank you so much!
We are writing this email to ask you if we can have a videocall together with your Ukrainian students on 25th June for about 10 min.s (each class) from 12:30-13:30. We would love it! If it’s not possible, please make some suggestions of different times or dates.
Thank you for caring about Ukraine and coming up with “Bracelets and Peace”.

Efanor’s 4th graders
In a previous post, you can read about Colégio Efanor’s fundraising and the speech bubbles they drew and wrote and the ones they received in reply from students in Anne’s class on April 24th with Smart Osvita.
We were thrilled at the idea, and immediately contacted Smart Osvita to start arranging the meet-up. As always, this amazing organisation set to work to organise the session and set up the link.
Then, in another email, we received another amazing contribution to this connection. An e-book full of messages, pictures and some useful words in Portuguese for the Ukrainian students.
Thank you for the encouragement – it means a lot!
